Event log is a diagnostic tool that centralizes the events generated on the organization’s Windows devices. It lets you consult, from the platform, the information collected from different system and application logs, making it easier to identify and analyze errors, warnings, and other relevant events without needing to access each device directly. Events can come from the Windows Application, Security, and System logs, as well as from other logs available on the device.

Table information

The table shows the events collected on the organization’s devices and provides the following information:
  • Workspace. Device on which the event occurred. Selecting its name opens the device’s detail view.
  • Date. Date and time when the event occurred.
  • Source. Component, service, or application that generated the event.
  • Message. Information recorded by the event; it can be expanded to see the details.
  • Event ID. Code that identifies the generated event.
  • Log file. Log where the event is stored.
  • Event type. Classification of the event according to its nature or severity: Critical, Error, Warning, Information, or Unknown.
At the top of the table there are predefined filters that let you display events by type: Critical, Error, Warning, Information, or Unknown. You can select one or more filters to narrow down the results shown in the table.
