Summary
FlexxAgent on devices
FlexxAgent is the Flexxible agent installed on managed devices. It collects the device and session information that Solve’s diagnosis can use as context. A device must have FlexxAgent installed for the platform to inventory, monitor, and manage it. To install it on Windows and check that the device has been onboarded correctly, follow the Download FlexxAgent guide. For other operating systems, see FlexxAgent download. FlexxAgent features vary by operating system. Check the FlexxAgent functional compatibility before choosing devices.Connectivity
FlexxAgent needs to communicate with Flexxible services. Before deploying it, review the addresses and ports that must be reachable in Network and security. Once installed, you can check communication with the FlexxAgent for Windows connectivity test.Ticket entry
Assist Chatbot, the ITSM integration, and the MCP server can be used independently or simultaneously. Using one entry point doesn’t require enabling the others. Connecting an ITSM is optional, both during the trial and in production. See Ticket entry and ITSM integration to learn what each entry point allows.Assist Teammate
Assist Teammate works within Flexxible Assist, Flexxible’s HTML5 remote assistance. That’s why it has the same requirements: a supported operating system on the assisted device and FlexxAgent CP installed. Teammate is only available in Flexxible Assist, not in Remote Assistance (FRA). The Remote assistance page compares the two options. Using Teammate has its own cost terms.Proactive support with Flows
Solve’s proactive support uses Flows. Flows currently require FlexxClient. This requirement applies to Flows. Assist Autonomous agentic repairs are a capability separate from Flows. Also keep the following in mind:- According to the FlexxAgent functional compatibility, Flows are available on Windows devices.
- Creating and modifying Flows depends on the user’s role on the platform. See the Flows permissions by role.
