FlexxAgent

FlexxAgent is the solution's local component, responsible for collecting information about devices and applications and sending it to the service's web consoles. It is a mandatory component of the solution; therefore, FlexxAgent must be installed to view and manage a device on the consoles. It allows the execution of actions on demand remotely and automatically to improve the efficiency of support teams. It simplifies user self-service by enabling users to execute support actions autonomously without leaving the session.

FlexxAgent's tasks are diverse and crucial. It gathers data about device status, usage, and errors and reports on resource and application utilization. It performs self-healing actions and provides a secure remote support interface for users. This interface ensures that users can receive support without compromising their security. It also offers unattended access for administrators and can perform operations on devices, including powering them on over the network using Wake-On-LAN.
