Wireless networks
FlexxAgent collects multiple network information from devices. When FlexxAgent identifies the use of any wireless network, it is automatically created in Workspaces. These help to automatically maintain an inventory of all networks detected on devices to obtain precise location mapping based on network data. It can be associated with Networks and Locations allowing the construction of a network inventory, the connected devices, the network operators in use, and much more.
List view
The list view allows you to see the relationship of wireless networks discovered by the agent. It allows you to search, filter, sort, show or hide columns, and more.
It also allows you to select a wireless network from the list and mark it as a trusted network; in such a case, if FlexxAgent detects the network on more than five devices, it will create it again.
Detail view
In the upper block of the detail view of a network, the list of collected fields is found:
- SSID: network name; by default, the CIDR followed by the public IP. Allows customization.
- Public IP: The outgoing public IP to the internet of the network
- Source Device: name of the device that first declared the wireless network.
- Trusted: shows if this wireless network has been marked as trustworthy.
- ISP: connectivity provider
- Population: Shows the population from which the internet connection is established.
- Country: shows the country from where the internet exit is established.
- Network: allows associating this wireless network with a
Network
.
At the bottom, the relationship of devices connected to the network is shown.
