This month brings the new version 24.10 of FlexxAgent for Mac and Windows and includes multiple new features:

Improvements​

  • Full Screen Mode for Tables
  • In the Tenants and Activations list, clicking on a tenant's name selects the organization
  • It is possible to create sub-organizations in customer-type organizations
  • Organization admin users can now change the remote assistance settings
  • New key combination Control + K + O to return to the main organization

Tenants and Activations​

Suborganizations​

  • It is possible to create sub-organizations in client type organizations. These are distinguished by prefixing the main organization name in the format Tenant ->Sub-organization.

Remote Assistance Configuration​

  • Organization admin users can now change the remote assistance settings from reporting groups individually or at a general level for a tenant from Product.

Organization Selection with Keyboard​

  • New quick key combination (shortcut) to return to the user's main organization using Control + K + O.

Dynamic Remote Assistance​

Dynamic remote assistance allows an operator to act on a device regardless of whether the user has a session at that time. To perform and receive dynamic remote assistance, both devices must have version 24.9.2 or higher of FlexxAgent installed.

Startup and Shutdown Scheduling for Workspaces Groups​

Allows you to set the day and time for turning on the devices in the group using Wake on LAN (requires at least one reporting agent per location), as well as turning them off.

Fishing pattern​

Within a reporting group, it is possible to set a search pattern using a RegEx that allows moving the matching devices to the containing reporting group. This way, the deployment of thousands of devices can be simplified with a single FlexxAgent installation binary, and subsequently create the required reporting groups and automatically relocate the devices into their corresponding definitive reporting groups.

These are device groups that have the ability to pull from the members of an existing group or organizational unit in the Entra ID domain in use.
